Requirements

• Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
• Covid-19 Certification
• Anaphylaxis Certification
• Current BLS/CPR or Advanced Life Support Certification
• Any Additional Certification or Training in Vaccine Administration/Adverse Reaction Treatment (Pfizer or Astra Zeneca)
• Minimum of 5 years full time relevant clinical experience in a multidisciplinary setting including immunization work.
• Ability to provide full immunisation evidence (Hep B, MMR, Varicella, dTpa, Flu & Covid-19)
• Applicable Australian Working Rights Required
• Immunisation Course completed or underway preferred
• Flexibility and adaptability in working hours and locations

Description

RNS Nursing are seeking Registered Nurse Immunisers to act as Team Leader within a clinical team overseeing and assisting in the delivery of COVID-19 Vaccines as part of the Government's COVID-19 Vaccine roll-out.

You will be facilitating seamless support and leadership to service delivery personnel that consist of; Immunisers, Support RNs, Administrators and Logistics staff.

In this role you will also work closely within the vaccine administration team in ensuring:
• the safe, appropriate, and efficient administration of vaccinations
• a high-level of confidentiality
• the maintenance of data entries through the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) and other record-keeping platforms
