Description

RNS are the preferred agency across the Gold Coast. To meet increased demand we are seeking experienced Mental Health Registered and Enrolled Nurses.

  • Duties include but are not limited to attending to Acute and Chronically ill Mental Health Inpatient ADLs
  • Team Work with other Mental Health Professionals (Doctors, Nurses, Psycologists, Social Workers etc)
  • Documentation both written and computer based
  • Administration of Medications
  • Communication with Patients and their Relatives

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 12 months full time experience including exposure in the last 24 months as an Acute Mental Health Care RN
  • Current AHPRA Registration (No Conditions, Undertakings or Reprimands)
  • Applicable nursing qualifications Acute Mental Health Care
  • Current Police Check issued within the last 12 months or willing to obtain one (No Charge when done through RNS)
  • Ability to provide full immunisation evidence 
  • The ability to clearly communicate with respect within an Acute Mental Health Care setting
